I had been overweight most of my adult life. At the age of 40 I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes and eventually reached my high weight of 309. In September of 2002 I had a gastric bypass. I am now almost half the person I was and my health issues have completely resolved. The world became brighter with each day. The thousands of meters I swam and hours at the gym made me strong and healthy, but I was still wearing the shroud of my former self. After a long search for a plastic surgeon, I was fortunate to find Dr. Agha. At my initial consultation, I was completely at ease and knew I had made the right choice. Any inhibitions were lost -- it was as if I was a piece of clay and he the artist. In July of 2007 I had a breast lift and brachioplasty. In March of 2008 I had the total body lift and am planning to have the vertical thigh lift and some revisions in October. I am also looking forward to a trip to the West Coast for my final procedure (face lift) sometime next year. Dr. Agha and I had many discussions while planning my procedures and he was very easy to talk to and always willing to listen to my input and thoughts (which could be many). After my surgery, when I became anxious over things I did not understand, he and his staff assuaged my concerns completely. The ProCare protein supplement made the healing process much quicker. When you had been overweight as long as I, you lose touch with yourself and hide from the world. Dr. Agha had the amazing ability to see through my old self and bring out the beauty of me. He is truly an artist. I've heard too often over the years, "... you have such a pretty face." Now, I have curves that I never knew existed, muscles that were hidden and "the girls" are gorgeous!! I feel strong, sexy and beautiful. Dr. Agha gave this butterfly her wings!! I would recommend Dr. Agha to anyone who is looking for a plastic surgeon with a vision. He is a perfectionist and an absolutely delightful man. You won't be disappointed!!
